I'Stephanie Crumley is a visual storyteller driven by the nostalgia of ruin. Her work is often in found places she has stumbled across in travels, off the beaten path and forgotten by time.

Her love of the romantic and post war modernist periods reflect through the places, people and things that she documents.Her prose, videography and photography has been featured on Salon.com, the Weekly Dig, Decibel.com, Brooklyn Vegan, the Phoenix, Patch.com, Wicked Local, Mother Jones, and the Huffington Post.

She currently resides in Columbus, Ohio with her husband, where she works as an art consultant and freelance photographer and writer. In her spare time, she works with her husband on a project calls What Hides Beneath, a multimedia exploration of horror folklore and urban legends throughout the United States.
